You find the perfect ICP. You open your lead database, build the search, and then the math starts.
Every export costs credits. Every email reveal costs credits. You cut the list down to “the best 2,000” because the full 15,000 would burn your whole month. And the tools that call themselves “unlimited” usually come with a daily cap and a refresh timer.
Here’s what you can do instead: use a lead database with one flat price, and build your lists by describing them to Claude or ChatGPT.
That’s GetLeads. In this GetLeads review, we’ll walk through what it is, what data you get, its key features, pricing, how to get started, and how to use it for cold email. Everything here comes from the GetLeads site, so you can check it for yourself.
Quick disclosure: Ryane, the founder of GetLeads, is a personal friend of Michael’s, and the GetLeads link isn’t an affiliate link.
Let’s dive in.
What Is GetLeads?
GetLeads is a B2B lead database you search by asking your AI, for one flat monthly price instead of per-lookup credits.
GetLeads calls itself “the lead database built for AI agents.” Instead of clicking through filters in a dashboard, you connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, or another AI tool, and ask for the people you want in plain English.
It’s built for API and MCP use only. There’s no classic search dashboard. Your AI assistant turns your request into exact filters (job title, seniority, industry, headcount, location), and you get the results back as a CSV, or as JSON through the API and webhooks.
The big difference is the pricing model. You pay a flat monthly fee for the database instead of paying per lookup. The only limit is a fair-use cap to stop anyone copying the whole database (more on that in the pricing section).
What Data You Get With GetLeads
According to the GetLeads data page, the database covers 542M+ B2B contacts, including 125M+ work emails, 136M+ personal emails, and 88M+ cellphones.
Each lead can have up to 95 fields: 52 contact fields and 43 company fields. That includes:
- Name, job title, seniority, and department
- Work email and email status, plus mobile numbers where available
- The full professional profile, with work and education history
- Company size, industry, funding, HQ location, and tech stack
The data is refreshed monthly. Coverage is global, with the deepest coverage in the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland, the UAE, Australia, and Western Europe.
To give you an idea of the depth, we ran a free count for founders, CEOs, and owners at US advertising agencies with 11–50 employees and valid emails. It came back with 10,337 contacts.

Key GetLeads Features
You run GetLeads from inside your AI tool, and live leads add fresh, pay-as-you-go lists on top of the database.
Here are the features that matter most for cold email.
Use It Inside Claude, ChatGPT or Any MCP Client
The main way to use GetLeads is through its MCP connector. It works with Claude and ChatGPT, plus tools like Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, Codex, Cline, and Zed.
Once it’s connected, your AI gets plain-English tools for searching, counting, exporting, and enriching. Counting contacts and companies is free, and a single export can be up to 50,000 rows.
You don’t need to be a coder. The FAQ also says the standard $20-a-month Claude plan is enough for most people, and since the AI is only writing search filters, a smaller model works too.
Live Leads: Company Followers, Profile Engagement and Website Visitors
Live leads are fresh lists you pay for as you go, on top of your plan. There are three of them:
Enrichment
Already have a list? You can enrich it from LinkedIn URLs, company domains, or personal emails, or upload a CSV with no row cap. You can also enrich your CRM to check who has changed jobs, since the database refreshes monthly.
Integrations and Skills
GetLeads connects to HeyReach, so your AI can send matching contacts straight to a HeyReach list or campaign (campaigns arrive as drafts, so you press start). For Clay, the site recommends using Clay’s HTTP API column to call the GetLeads API.
There’s also a GTM Skills Directory with prebuilt prompts and agent skills, like finding every company that looks like your customers, or picking the right people to contact at each one.
On the “coming soon” list, the site mentions daily job changes, lists from job posts, full website HTML per contact, and Google Maps businesses.
GetLeads Pricing
There’s a free plan, and the paid plans are a flat $249 or $497 a month, with no per-seat or per-credit charges.
GetLeads has three plans.
Live leads are paid from a prepaid wallet on top of your plan.

Is GetLeads Really Unlimited?
So is it really unlimited? There are no per-seat or per-credit charges on the paid plans, but there is a fair-use cap of 500,000 contacts a day and 6 million a month. GetLeads says it raises caps per account routinely if you genuinely need more.
💡 Pro tip: Count before you export. Checking how many contacts match your filters is free, so you can tweak the search until the number looks right.
GetLeads vs Apollo, Plus Our Pros and Cons
GetLeads is one flat subscription and Apollo is per-seat and per-credit, but Apollo still has built-in sequences and a dialer.
The GetLeads site has its own Apollo comparison, based on Apollo’s public plans as of mid-2026.

Source: GetLeads’ Apollo comparison
The short version: GetLeads is one subscription with no seats and no usage caps, while Apollo is per-seat and per-credit. The FAQ says coverage is usually within about 10% of Apollo’s.
To be fair, Apollo has things GetLeads doesn’t, like built-in sequences and a dialer. GetLeads is a data layer, so you’ll still need a sending tool.
GetLeads Pros and Cons
Here’s our honest take.

- Some features, like job change lists and Google Maps data, are still coming soon
- The Partner price requires posting about GetLeads twice a month
How to Get Started With GetLeads
Sign up free, connect the MCP, describe your ICP, check the count, then export, verify and send.
Here’s how to go from sign-up to your first campaign.
👇

Step 1: Sign Up for Free
Create an account on GetLeads. You start with 1,000 free credits.
Step 2: Connect the MCP
In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, and add a custom connector called “getleads” with the URL https://app.getleads.io/api/mcp. Click Connect, sign in to GetLeads, and allow access. There’s also a one-click “Add to Claude” option on the MCP page.
👇

Step 3: Describe Your ICP
Be specific, like you’re building Apollo filters. The FAQ’s example: don’t say “marketing agencies,” say “companies in the US with a headcount of 5-200, using all the industries a marketing agency might be under.”
Step 4: Check the Filters and the Count
Ask your AI to show you the filters and a result count before it exports. Change anything you don’t like. This part is free.
Step 5: Export and Verify
Export the list as a CSV, then always run it through an email verifier. Here’s how to stop bounces with email validation.
Step 6: Send Your Campaign
Load the list into Instantly or Smartlead, write your copy, and finish with a clear CTA. Our guide on crafting the perfect CTA will help.
